Ciaran J. Newman is a past Chairman and fellow of the Irish Institute of Training & Development.

He has written extensively on the subject of Goal Setting and Behavior Change.  A resource associate of the Irish Productivity Centre, he was also a member of a successful joint Irish Government/EC study on the training of trainers which included the Irish Management Institute, Aer Lingus, Irish Life, and many other leading Irish Companies. A leading specialist in the area of course and programme design he developed a wide variety of training materials relating to customer care, quality, management, strategic selling, negotiation, and global marketing.
